The waste is handled by a balancing pit (volume approx. 2.2 cubic meters). Drinking water needs to be imported, although it could be brought to the cottage after an agreement with the neighbours. At present it is stored under the sink in a barrel and a small pump takes it to the tap in the sink.

There is a well in the garden with domestic water (a submersible pump is needed if used for watering). Along with this, there is an outdoor shower in the garden into which rainwater is drawn (pulled by a pump) from a 2.2 m3 tank. The rainwater is also used for showering and washing dishes inside the cottage.

As far as electricity is concerned, there is three-phase. An electric car can be charged overnight. Along with that there is a “ten” circuit breaker. The cottage also has an antenna for TV. The Wi-Fi works using a sim card (the modem has a range of almost the whole garden – it is weaker only at the back end). The property is secured with a code (arming also works remotely) and equipped with a camera system (along with this, you can also use talking also remotely through a speaker). So, wherever you are, you will have a perfect overview of all the happenings.

The floors are vinyl on the ground floor and wooden on the sleeping floor. The perimeter walls are made of solid timber – about 5 cm and the inner surface is made of wooden boards. The building is insulated with 5 cm of glass wool (between the inner and outer perimeter walls, the upper ceiling is also insulated and together with this, the insulation is designed in the lower part of the cottage between the floor and the base plate).

The garden is just the right size and with it low maintenance. It offers a garden house for storing things and a cosy rock garden next to it, which is simply a joy to look at. But if there’s one thing you’ll really love, it’s the cosy outdoor seating area where you can enjoy frequent barbecues, a cup of delicious coffee or even a glass of something spicy, all while reading your favourite book to the sounds of the surrounding of nature…
